1. Who this covers

This Privacy Policy describes how Just Movers Inc ("Just Movers," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use justmoversinc.com, call or text us, request a quote, book a move, refer a family to us, or ask about selling a home.

2. What we collect

• Contact and move details. Your name, phone number, email address, current and new addresses, move date, home size, the type of move, level of care at the new residence when you tell us, whether a home may need to be sold, and anything you write in the notes.
• Referral details. When a community or partner refers a family to us, the partner's name and role, the community, and the family contact's name and phone number, used only to contact that family about their move.
• Communications. Records of calls, emails, and text messages between you and us, including notes our team writes, the date and time of contact, and whether you asked us to stop contacting you. Calls to our business numbers may be answered by an automated phone assistant and may be recorded or transcribed so that we can quote and schedule accurately.
• Site usage. Standard server and analytics data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, pages viewed, and time of visit.

3. How we use it

• To respond to you, quote and schedule your move, and carry it out.
• To send one-to-one text messages about your quote and your move where you have opted in, and to send booking confirmations and crew arrival information by phone, email, or text.
• To ask for a review after your move, and to check in with you after the move.
• To connect you with our real estate broker when you ask about selling a home, with your permission.
• To keep records required for legal and regulatory purposes, including records of consent and opt-out requests, and records required of a North Carolina household goods mover.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site and our services.

4. Text messaging and your mobile information

Consent to receive text messages from us is collected either through the separate, unchecked box on our website forms or verbally on a phone call, and is recorded against your contact record. Consent is never a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, or by emailing help@justmoversinc.com. Full details of the messaging program are set out in our SMS Terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services to us, such as our telephony, phone-assistant, and customer-record providers, is permitted solely so that those providers can deliver the message on our behalf. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.

5. How we share it

We do not sell personal information, and we do not rent or trade contact lists. We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract: our telephony and text-messaging provider, our automated phone-assistant provider, our customer-record and scheduling system, our email provider, our hosting and database providers, our analytics provider, and our payment processor. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us. When you ask about selling a home, we share your contact details with our real estate broker so he can call you.

We may also disclose information where required by law, by legal process, or by a government or regulatory authority, including the North Carolina Utilities Commission, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, our safety, or the safety of others. If our business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, to remember your preferences, and to understand aggregate traffic patterns. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and then for as long as required to meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations. Records of consent and of opt-out requests are kept for the life of the messaging program so that we can honor them.

8. Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, and vendor selection standards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Reply STOP to a text message, tell us on a call, or email us. We will act on the request promptly. You may also ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, by emailing help@justmoversinc.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on the request, and we may keep records we are required to keep by law.

10. Children

Our services are for adults arranging a move. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect.
